Armstrong announced the news on Twitter.
“Big news y’all. THEMOVE will be available on-demand via @peacock throughout the 2024 Tour de France. Stoked for my co-host @ghincapie and the entire @wedusport team.”
Over the past decade, Armstrong has built a media empire that includes several podcasts supported by advertisers.
Peacock will offer on-demand access to episodes of THE MOVE following Stages 1, 4, 11, 14, 15, 19, 20, and 21, as well as a preview show ahead of the start of the Tour de France.
THE MOVE is the number one downloadable cycling podcast in the world on Apple, according to NBC’s press release.
On Saturday, I’ll release a new episode of the RIDING WITH podcast where I’m joined by Paul Burmeister, the longtime host of NBC’s Tour de France pre- and post-race coverage.
Burmeister is the former starting quarterback for the University of Iowa and a veteran broadcaster who has covered the NFL, the Olympics, and the Tour de France. Brent Bookwalter and Teejay Vangarderen will join him in the studio.
Bookwalter joined NBC last summer to provide analysis and color. Vangarderen, who is employed by Team EF Education-Easy Post as a sports director, will be in the studio for the first time.
Bookwalter and I spoke about the leap from the road into the television studio back in April.
